The animation feature-film "Jack et la Mécanique du Coeur" is released in cinemas on the 5th of February 2014!! It's co-directed by Stéphane Berla and Mathias Malzieu, from the French band Dionysos.
Edimbourg 1874. Jack was born on the coldest day ever in the world and his heart gets frozen. The Doctor Madeleine saved him by replacing his defective heart by a mechanical clock. He survives thanks to this magic fixing, unless he breaks the 3 rules: first he must not touch the hands of his clock, he must control his anger, and finally he should never ever fall in love. When he meets Miss Acacia, a little street singer, his clock will speed up. He will do anything to find her back, Jack will live an adventure to find his love, threw scottish lochs, Paris or even Andalousia.
Stéphane Berla who directed Dionysos' music video "Tais-toi mon Coeur" signs his first feature-film, thanks to original designs made by Nicoletta Ceccoli, and shows once again his talent for producing moving and fragile CG characters. Even though Jack is already a famous character for Dionysos fans, today he has his real story in this non standard and inventive film, with a very rich graphic universe.
Besides, you will ear the voices of various personalities: Grand Corps Malade, Olivia Ruiz, Jean Rochefort, Emily Loiseau, Arthur H, etc.
